Olivia loves meeting new people and creating healthy and beautiful smiles while making sure patients are completely comfortable in the dental chair. Originally from Daytona Beach, FL, Olivia attended the University of South Florida for her bachelor’s and then continued onto the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She has also received advanced training through the prestigious Dawson Academy and obtained a Fellowship in the International Congress of Implantologists, through which she performed a wide range of procedures including implant placement, bone grafting, root canals, extractions, whitening, and much more. Olivia recently moved to the area with her husband, Andrew, and their fur baby kitty Cannoli. Outside of dentistry, Olivia enjoys singing, playing piano, baking, spending time with family and friends, and being active at church. Olivia is passionate about traveling abroad and has been to 6 of the 7 continents doing mission work.
Cristina was destined for the dental field, with a rich and long family history in the profession. She has been working as a dental hygienist since 2015. Cristina draws on her family experience and skills to help guide her, which also makes for interesting family get togethers. She graduated from Howard University with a certificate in dental hygiene. One of her biggest passions is to educate her patients on the importance of the oral-systemic link. A healthy body starts with a healthy mouth! Aside from dentistry, her interests include yoga and meditation, as a clear, focused mind is essential in all aspects of life. She is also a big animal lover and dedicates her spare time to fostering dogs for a local DC rescue organization.
Mary is one of our wonderful hygienists with over 5 years of experience in the dental field. Passionate about helping people obtain optimum oral health, Mary attended the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene as well as the University of New Haven. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in dental hygiene education. Outside of dentistry, Mary is into yoga and is a big Red Sox fan.
Elmira has several years experience in dentistry, and her favorite thing about being in this field is having the opportunity to meet new people while providing them with the very best dental care. She is very passionate when interacting with patients and she is honored to be a part of such an amazing team. She likes to encourage excellence and a love for people. She loves living in Washignton, DC, including the diversity and the vibe of the city. She is originally from Penza, Russia, but also considers Richmond, VA her hometown. She has a bachelor’s degree in French Studies, an associate’s in science, and received her dental assistant certification at Reynolds College. She enjoys traveling, photography, and playing the piano in her spare time.
Tigi has over ten years in the dental field. She worked for over seven years as a dental hygienist in Germany, and since moving to the United States, she has worked as a dental assistant. She was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and moved to Germany when she was 15. She went to college in Germany to become a dental hygienist…she loved being a hygienist, working with and taking care of patients, and meeting people. Her fondest memory is seeing patients happy with her work. She had a great opportunity to move to the US, and has been very glad to make the move here, and to experience the great opportunities and lifestyle here. For hobbies, she loves traveling, reading, going out with friends, and horse riding. She speaks three languages -- Amharic, German, and she is working on her English.
Shawn has over 18 years of experience in dentistry and says the best part of his job is getting to meet people from all walks of life. Originally from Norfolk, VA, Shawn attended the University of Memphis and was a dental tech in the Navy for 5 years. Shawn has two daughters and in his spare time he enjoys bowling, being active in his church, traveling, and he considers himself a food connoisseur.
Makena has always had a passion for the dental field and is in the process of applying to dental school. She is taking this year off prior to dental school to learn the dynamics of working in our dental office, while supporting both the back and front offices to give each patient an excellent clinical experience. She is a strong advocate for maintaining a healthy life style, which is directly linked to oral health. Improving upon the health of patients continues to motivate Makena in her pursuits in the healthcare industry. She is dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and overall wellness, spending her free time running and being outdoors. Makena recently moved to the DC area from Lexington, Virginia, where she graduated from Washington & Lee University with a degree in Neuroscience. Makena’s home is in far-away Pacific Grove, California (and she was born in Hawaii!). Makena hopes to one day move back and pursue her career as a dentist closer to home.

Sweety calls Maryland home, even though she spent the first half of her life on the other side of the globe in beautiful and exotic India. She was recently graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, completing a B.A. in Psychology. She has a huge appreciation for art and culture, and is passionate about DIY projects, crafts, and enjoys passing the time painting. She also loves learning about other cultures and travel. Her other passions include cooking, hiking, and dancing. Speaks two languages fluently – English and Malayalam. She also has a background in accounting as well as social work. She previously worked as an accounting assistant, and later as an employment specialist for individuals with disabilities in Baltimore city working to counter the stigma against those with disabilities.
With nearly a decade of dentistry experience, Lenny loves having the opportunity to work with our team to deliver great dental care for every patient. Lenny studied at Lamar College. Originally from Springfield Gardens, Queens, Lenny grew up in a close-knit Haitian family with many cousins, aunts, and uncles. In his free time, Lenny enjoys playing sports, attending plays and comedy shows, and writing poetry. He considers himself a good cook, which is especially rare for men his age.
