Cristina was destined for the dental field, with a rich and long family history in the profession. She has been working as a dental hygienist since 2015. Cristina draws on her family experience and skills to help guide her, which also makes for interesting family get togethers. She graduated from Howard University with a certificate in dental hygiene. One of her biggest passions is to educate her patients on the importance of the oral-systemic link. A healthy body starts with a healthy mouth! Aside from dentistry, her interests include yoga and meditation, as a clear, focused mind is essential in all aspects of life. She is also a big animal lover and dedicates her spare time to fostering dogs for a local DC rescue organization.
Tatiana is a native of Moldova and has been residing in the United States with her family since 1997. She is a graduate of Fortis College Dental Hygiene School and was the vice president of her class. Tatiana has been practicing dental hygiene since 2014 and her passion is treating patients with various stages of periodontal disease. Prior to dental hygiene school, Tatiana worked at the former New Mexico Avenue location of Aesthetic and Family Dentistry as a dental receptionist and assistant. She is very happy to return to her favorite practice as a dental hygienist and is looking forward to providing for your dental hygiene needs. In January 2017, Tatiana travelled to Kingston, Jamaica for a volunteer dental mission and had a very rewarding experience. She keeps up to date on the current dental hygiene technique and enjoys attending continuing education classes. Tatiana resides near Columbia, Maryland with her husband and beloved dog. They are expecting their first baby boy, due in May 2018. She enjoys traveling to the beach, hiking, scientific documentaries, exquisite cuisine of many cultures, and learning about interior decorating.
Elmira has several years experience in dentistry, and her favorite thing about being in this field is having the opportunity to meet new people while providing them with the very best dental care. She is very passionate when interacting with patients and she is honored to be a part of such an amazing team. She likes to encourage excellence and a love for people. She loves living in Washignton, DC, including the diversity and the vibe of the city. She is originally from Penza, Russia, but also considers Richmond, VA her hometown. She has a bachelor’s degree in French Studies, an associate’s in science, and received her dental assistant certification at Reynolds College. She enjoys traveling, photography, and playing the piano in my spare time.

Tigi has over ten years in the dental field. She worked for over seven years as a dental hygienist in Germany, and since moving to the United States, she has worked as a dental assistant. She was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and moved to Germany when she was 15. She went to college in Germany to become a dental hygienist…she loved being a hygienist, working with and taking care of patients, and meeting people. Her fondest memory is seeing patients happy with her work. She had a great opportunity to move to the US, and has been very glad to make the move here, and to experience the great opportunities and lifestyle here. For hobbies, she loves traveling, reading, going out with friends, and horse riding. She speaks three languages -- Amharic, German, and she is working on her English.
Miranda brings a long history of passion and commitment in the arts and education to coordinate the hygiene schedule and enhance the patient experience at Aesthetic & Family Dentistry. Miranda grew up in rural southern Maryland, where she began her relationship and love for dance. She attended Arizona State University where she continued to build on her dance growth and knowledge. Miranda still currently teaches dance classes every week. Miranda was recently graduated with her bachelor of arts degree in education, with a focus on English language learners. Her passion is helping people reach their fullest potential, which is why she spends the majority of her time volunteering. She has worked for countless nonprofit organizations, using her knowledge as an educator to teach Spanish speaking children and their families to speak English and learn the skills necessary to be successful in the U.S. She enjoys working with young girls to raise awareness and teach self-defense. Miranda hopes to one day serve in the Peace Corps.
Ruth is a native from southern Maryland. She attended the Fortis Institute in 2016, from which she was graduated and obtained her expanded functions dental assistant certification. Ruth has also served in the US Army National Guard for six years, and now serves in the US Air National Guard. Ruth cherishes the dentistry field and helping others. Ruth has always been very passionate about dentistry. She plans on furthering her education with hopes of becoming a dentist herself one day.
